Banana Mocha Smoothie

A delicious and easy breakfast smoothie that'll get you up and moving!

  • 2 ripe bananas sliced and frozen
  • 1 Nespresso Fortissio Lungo capsule extracted and cooled
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • ¾ cup milk of your choice plus more as needed
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder heaped
  • 1 tablespoon liquid sweetener of your choice optional


  • Combine all ingredients in a blender, food processor or immersion/hand blender and blend until completely smooth. Add more milk if too thick. Taste for sweetness, adding if desired. Serve immediately.


Freeze sliced bananas at least 2 hours for a nice and thick consistency.
If you don't have a Nespresso machine, use about ¼ cup strong coffee or espresso.
